Christian shopkeeper rubbishes supernatural claims

Nigel Parrott was disappointed to learn his store, Sweet Dreams, had featured in a so-called ghost walk in Great Yarmouth (pictured below) and he put up a poster to deter diviners and others who dabble in witchcraft.

He told Premier: "What caused me to put the poster up was the fact I had, in the early part of the summer, people coming in saying they had been on the ghost walks and my shop was one of the most haunted shops in Great Yarmouth."

Mr Parrott said the shop on Regent Street had previously been used by Goths and he found Ouija boards and tarot cards when he first arrived.

The sign on his front shop window reads: "To all my wonderful customers, this shop is definitely NOT haunted (even though the town "ghost walks" appears to think it is.

#"ALL demonic paraphernalia has been destroyed. Jesus Christ died so we could be free from all other spirits and negativity. He is alive today and His is the ONLY spirit in this place. Hurray!!"

Mr Parrott said he has since received an apology from the ghost walk organisers and that he had reminded them of the account in 1 Samuel 28 where stricken King of Israel Saul consults a medium.
