A man has waived his right to anonymity in a legal battle to end his life with the help of a doctor
Paul Lamb was severely injured in a car accident 23 years ago and is almost totally paralysed.
He now wants to become the figurehead of the right-to-die case started by locked-in sufferer Tony Nicklinson.
Mr Lamb, who lives in Leeds, said he feels he has to take up the challenge: "Somebody needed to do it, it needed to be kept alive and it needs keeping alive until it gets passed.
"Whether it's with help of what's going on here now or the next person, or the next person.
