The online music store, which has millions of customers, has added the genre to its search list.
MOBO Award winner Guvna B's told Premier it's great news.
He said: "It's really important, when you think of how many Christians there are in the UK that might be searching for uplifting, encouraging and inspirational music - it's great that there's a variety of ways they can get that.
"For musicians as well, it's great that you can put a project up and someone can just hop on iTunes to find you easily.
"There's not just that one place that you have to go or that one Christian book shop that everyone has to search high and low for."
The genre on the website, which is run by Apple, features other options like Christian Metal, Christian Pop, Christian Rap, Contemporary Gospel and Southern Gospel.
It's hoped it will now make Christian music even more accessible online.
In September the music chain HMV announced it had linked up with a number of Christian music labels including Integrity Music Europe to provide a dedicated Christian and Gospel music section in its 100+ stores.
Jonathan Brown, Integrity Music Managing Director, said: "HMVs willingness to carry a complete range of Christian and gospel music in all their stores nationally continues to show the popularity of music that emerges from the local church both here and abroad.
"One of our main roles at Integrity Music is to make the music we represent easily accessible to all, and having HMVs partnership along with traditional Christian bookstores will ensure that our music is available within the high street in most towns and cities throughout the UK."
