YouVersion marked its highest day ever for daily Bible engagement, soaring nearly 22 per cent compared to Easter in 2023.
On Sunday alone, a staggering 16.8 million individuals turned to God’s Word through the YouVersion family of apps, with 2.4 million verses shared through the Bible App.
According to YouVersion, the significant uptick in Easter Bible engagement can be attributed in part to enhanced accessibility and the data-friendly Bible App Lite.
Bible App launched among the first free apps available in the Apple App Store in 2008. Since then, it’s been installed in every country of the world. The app offers a free Bible experience in more than 2,000 languages, and uses features like Verse of the Day, Bible Plans, Guided Prayer, and Daily Refresh to help people deepen their relationship with God.
Throughout Holy Week 2024, YouVersion witnessed a remarkable increase in app installs, surpassing. This surge reached its pinnacle on Easter Day, marking the second-highest day for app installs in YouVersion's history.
As Easter unfolded, the most shared verses encapsulated the essence of the holiday's profound significance: Matthew 28:6, Ephesians 6:11 and Luke 24:6.
