37 Christian leaders have reported receiving death threats since October, according to Asia News.
Most recently Mgr Bejoy D'Cruze, Bishop of Shylet, and Mgr Paul Panen Kubi, Bishop of Mymenshing, received threatening text messages.
Revd Aniruddha Das, the general secretary of the National Council of Churches of Bangladesh said that: "Christians are very much afraid.
"We must remember that we are children of this land and we cannot give in to threats.
"Most people are with us."
Nirmal Rozario, general secretary of the Bangladesh Christian Association, has also been a victim of threats.
One message to him read: "There will be arrangements for you during Christmas."
Another said, "Let us know whether we will arrange your funeral or allow your family to do so."
The South Asian nation is nearly 90% Muslim, nearly 10% Hindu, and around 0.2% Catholic.
