The Archbishop of Canterbury joined guests on the dance floor as more than 150 people gathered at Lambeth Palace for an event celebrating diversity and promoting racial justice in the Church of England.
A video from the event showed Archbishop Sarah Mullally dancing alongside guests during the day, which brought together clergy, ordinands, lay ministers and those on vocational pathways from Global Majority Heritage and UK Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
The annual gathering was hosted by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York alongside the Church's co-lead bishops for racial justice, Bishop Rosemarie Mallett and Bishop Arun Arora.
While there was a celebratory atmosphere, church leaders also used the event to deliver a serious message about racism and the use of Christian imagery at recent far-right demonstrations.
Bishop Arun said the Church needed to challenge those who "yoke nationalism with Christianity", while Bishop Rosemarie said racial justice must not become a "marginal agenda".
Archbishop Sarah told guests Christian leaders had a responsibility to speak out against intimidation, saying: "Silence itself encourages a society in which people think it's alright to intimidate in this way."
The event also marked five years since the publication of the Church of England's From Lament to Action report on racism.
Music came from Zimbabwean singers the Zinafe Choir, while writer and youth worker Ceyon King performed poetry.
Archbishop Sarah thanked those attending for their contribution to the Church, telling them: "We have a long way to go with racial justice, but for me it is a joy seeing you in this building.
"You sitting in here begins to transform it."
