Ant and Dec spotted with 'God save the King' faith booklet on route to Coronation service

by Kelly Valencia

Well-known television presenters Ant and Dec were spotted holding a faith booklet as they made their way to the Coronation service in Westminster Abbey.

Printed by Christian publisher 10 of Those, the ‘God save the King’ booklet was handed out to those lining the streets in London to catch a glimpse of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Although it is unknown how the Geordie presenters got hold of one of the booklets, it has been suggested they might have received it at the Abbey’s security point.

Rev Matthew Price, who also attended the service, tweeted: “I was in the Abbey this morning. Charlie Hoare and the @careorguk interns were handing out both the book and tract to those in the queue to go through security and into the Abbey. Brilliant!”

The organisation’s CEO, Jonathan Carswell, said he is praying the comedy duo read the leaflet.

Several other Christian organisations used the King’s Coronation as an opportunity to evangelise. Living Waters, a US-based Christian charity, printed two million fifty-pound notes featuring King Charles on one side and the Gospel on the other to hand out to the thousands of people in London.

Ray Comfort, the organisation’s CEO, said: “Given the religious content of the service, the world in effect is going to church.”

“The Coronation Million will be irresistible memorabilia that each person will value, and something that they can take with them. Three million have also been printed in the United States, and as in the UK, they are being given away free of charge—along with free shipping.”
