Churches are already seeing huge interest in digital offerings as the country moves towards self-isolation.
With the Government advising against public gatherings, most churches have cancelled Sunday and midweek services.
With many looking to livestream, some have already been testing the waters.
The Baptist Union hosted an online prayer broadcast with General Secretary Lynne Green with 2,300 joining in. It said it was the most popular live broadcast it has conducted with very little advance notice given.
Stressing the importance of people coming together online, Lynne Green said: "When 2020 began we had no idea what lay in store...it's really important that we pray together and seek the Lord together during this critical time."
The Baptist Union has put a number of resources online to help churches through the outbreak including financial help, digital guidance and pastoral advice.
