Two men in their twenties have been arrested for the robbery of controversial Brooklyn Bishop Lamar Whitehead.

Juwan Anderson and Say-Quan Pollack, both 23-years-old, have been charged with federal robbery after storming into Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Brooklyn, New York earlier this year.
They robbed the bishop at gun point whilst he was delivering a livestream sermon, stealing more than $1million (£830,000) in jewellery only.

Expressing his relief following the arrest, Bishop Whitehead told the Daily News: "My wife was crying when she heard the news. We're waiting for the last one to be arrested so we can move on with our life."

The two men were scheduled for a hearing to attend Brooklyn Federal Court Wednesday afternoon.
There's been speculation surrounding the robbery, with some suggesting the heist was staged by bishop Whitehead. However, sources close to the investigation said there was no indication that the bishop played a role in the robbery.

The bishop recently came under fire after grabbing a female congregant and pushing her off the pulpit.

He was then arrested but released two hours later after claiming he was only trying to protect himself and his family.
