Two Brits 'face Madeleine questioning'

The three year old vanished in Praia da Luz in the Algarve in 2007 whilst on holiday with her Catholic parents.

Kate and Gerry McCann have spoken of how important their faith has been since their daughter was snatched.

ITV News now says the people will be interviewed as suspects between November 24 and 28 in Faro, Portugal.

It reports that five men will be spoken to by detectives about where they were when the girl went missing.

A British female and a woman of eastern or central European origin will also be questioned.

Four others will be spoken to as witnesses.

Neither the Metropolitan Police nor officers in Portugal would make any official comment on the reports although it's thought the development follows extensive investigations of mobile phone data.
