TV stars to meet Syrian refugees in Jordan

The announcement was made using Facebook Live video.  They will also use their social media accounts to provide updates during their trip.

While in Jordan they will meet with Syrian and Iraqi refugee families, visit refugee camps and communities where refugees are settling and see the huge humanitarian response.

Emmy award winner Heaton stars on the sitcom "The Middle" and is well known for her role on sitcom, "Everybody Loves Raymond."

Former American Idol contestant McPhee, now stars in the TV drama "Scorpion."

Wirick also stars in "The Middle," and has also appeared on NCIS.

In 2016, World Vision served more than 2.3 million people in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and Serbia. However, World Vision has been responding to the needs of those displaced by the conflicts in Syria and Iraq since 2011.

More than 11 million people have been displaced since the start of the war in Syria, contributing to the largest global refugee crisis since World War II.
