The Chosen releases first scene of season 4 as filming wraps up

by Premier Journalist

The creators of the popular series "The Chosen," which depicts the life of Jesus, are treating fans to a glimpse of a scene from Season four. The sneak peek comes as they celebrate the completion of filming for this season. The show has achieved significant success, recently ranking third among the most-watched TV shows on Prime Video.

Although the actors' strike that started on 14th July briefly affected the filming of the show, creator and director Dallas Jenkins said they could resume filming the following week after a few days, as they had been granted the requested waiver.

This week, "The Chosen" team sent an email announcing that they were on the verge of completing filming for Season four and shared that they would be offering fans a special treat with a first look at one of the scenes from the upcoming season.

On Sunday, viewers will be able to join a livestream on Facebook, YouTube, and The Chosen app, which will include a Q&A session with Jonathan Roumie, the actor portraying Jesus in the series.

Earlier this week, the actor who plays the father of two of Jesus' disciples, Nick Shakour, shared how the role had led him to have an encounter with God, which had transformed his life.
