Religious programme 'Something Understood' cut by BBC

by Cara Bentley

Something Understood is an ethical discussion programme on early Sunday mornings and repeated Sunday evenings, exploring religious themes through music and guests from a variety of backgrounds.

Episodes are made by various independent production companies, such as TBI media, 7Digital and Falling Tree productions.

Falling Tree Productions wrote on twitter: "It was our privilege to produce scores of episodes with a wonderful spectrum of presenters and perspectives before R4 management lost faith in the network's 'still point', Something Understood ..."
