A priest who was abducted by rebels from the Central African Republic last month has been rescued after an operation by the Cameroonian army.
Soldiers freed Polish Catholic priest Mateusz Dziedzic and 15 others, the government said on Wednesday.
Fr Dziedzic was abducted by a rebel group known as the Democratic Front of the Central African People (FDPC) on October 12.
The group is a militia which is trying to overthrow the government in the CAR.
Militants had demanded the release of their leader in exchange for the hostages, though it's not known if this condition was met.
