Premier has officially opened and dedicated its new Premier Christian Media Centre in central London, marking a major milestone in the organisation’s mission to serve the Church and share the Christian message through media.

The opening was marked by a service of dedication held on Tuesday, attended by church leaders, partners and friends of Premier. The service was led by prominent Christian figures including Archbishop Angaelos and Lord Leslie Griffiths, who joined in prayers of thanksgiving and dedication for the building, its staff and its future work.

During the service, Premier named two of its flagship studios in honour of individuals who played a defining role in shaping the organisation.

The main radio studio was dedicated as the Peter Kerridge Studio, recognising the former CEO whose leadership helped transform Premier from a small London radio station into a global, multi-platform Christian media ministry.

The video studio was named the David Heron Studio, honouring the former Chairman whose vision and encouragement helped drive innovation in broadcasting and digital media.

The Premier Christian Media Centre is now home to Premier Christian News, as well as the radio stations Premier Christian Radio, Premier Praise and Premier Gospel, and flagship magazines Premier Christianity and Premier Woman Alive. It also houses Premier’s growing digital output, including websites, podcasts and video content reaching audiences across the UK and around the world.

Located in the heart of London, the centre includes 13 recording and production spaces. As Premier marks its 30th year, the organisation plans to make the facilities available to the wider Christian community through a mix of commercial and ministry partnerships, supporting content creation, training and collaboration.

The building is already being used by organisations beyond Premier, having recently hosted theologian N. T. Wright and recordings for a new podcast from the Evangelical Alliance.

Speaking at the dedication, Premier CEO Kevin Bennett said the day marked "a moment of deep gratitude and great expectation for Premier".

“This building is not just bricks and mortar; it is a tool dedicated to God’s service," he said. "We pray that everything created here will help people encounter Jesus, strengthen the Church, and contribute thoughtfully and creatively to the public square. We are excited to open these doors not only for Premier, but for the wider Christian community.”
