Preacher attacked by Muslim extremists 'no longer' considered missing by police

by Will Hobbs

The Met Police has told Premier that a Christian preacher, who has faced a facial stabbing and a separately attempted murder from Muslim extremists in Hyde Park's Speaker's Corner, is not missing after concerns were raised by colleagues and friends.

On 28th November, Steve Speakers Corner, a user on X, raised concerns that Hatun Tash, who represents DCCI (Defend Christ Critique Islam) Ministries, had not been seen for two weeks.

Edward Little, who pleaded guilty to plotting to try and kill her at Speaker's Corner, was jailed for at least 16 years in December.

“Based on the information established as part of that investigation, Hatun is no longer being treated as a missing person", a spokesperson from the Met confirmed.

The statement continued: “We understand that those who are worried about her will want to know more details to satisfy their own concerns, but it would not be appropriate for us to go into the details of either the investigation or any specific communication officers have had as part of it."
