Christian charity Church Mission Society is launching a new grassroots campaign to raise awareness about missions in Asia.
The Prayer and Aware campaign features a series of events throughout the UK designed to inspire, inform and equip Christians with a concern for Asia.
It aims to get Christians involved with missions in Asia as well as Asian churches within the UK.
Speakers include Philip Mounstephen, Executive Leader of CMS, Bishop Michael Nazir Ali, the former Bishop of Rochester, and Professor Dr Harold Suermann, Director of the Institute of Missiology Missio, Aachen.
Philip Mounstephen, said, "Asia has 60 per cent of the world's population and is the largest ethnic minority group in the UK, but how much do we know of what God is doing in Asia and what contributions can UK based Asian communities make?
"The purpose of the Prayer & Aware campaign is to answer these critical questions".
