It's claimed the Archbishop of Canterbury has a 'Plan C' in case proposals to bring in women bishops are blocked once more.
Plan B is the new legislation, which was drafted after the plans were vetoed in 2012, and is set to be debated at the Church of England General Synod on Monday.
The proposals are widely expected to pass this time after concessions were made for those who don't approve of women in overall leadership.
