According to the Sun, CCTV footage from the RedINC shop in Luton also shows the suspect stuffing cash into his jeans before sitting down and having the artwork finished.
Parlour owner Joanne Baum claims he made off with £1000 from the till, she said: It's ironic that he had clearly decided to embrace Christianity and one of their major beliefs is 'Thou shalt not steal'. To have someone sit there for six hours talking about their life intimately and then do this is unbelievable."
The man reportedly first booked his appointment two weeks ago and negotiated a discount from £420 to £250. He is understood to have paid £50 up front.
Police describe the man as Asian and in his 20s who is well built and around 6ft tall.
