by Will Maule

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was cut with a knife near a church in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police say that on 13th March, a man was walking down an alleyway beside Wolverton Evangelical Church when he was approached by two men. They demanded money from him, then one pulled out a knife. The victim sustained a stab wound to his hand during the incident. Cash was also stolen from his person.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Siobhan Jones said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident and anyone in the area who has CCTV or doorbell cameras."

The suspects are thought to be between 22-25-years-old and were wearing face masks. One was wearing a black jacket, according to police.

Detective Jones added:

"If you have any cameras covering the area around this incident or if you were in the area on Saturday night and have a dash-cam, please review your footage to see whether you have captured the incident or anyone matching these descriptions.
