International star Lady Gaga has posted a picture of herself in church with her priest praising the Mass she attended on Instagram.
She is pictured with Fr Duffell at Blessed Sacrament Church in New York.
The singer, known for songs like 'Just Dance' and 'Paparazzi' has been known to include a religious angle in her songs like 'Judas'.
It uses Catholic and Christian imagery and tells the story of a man that betrayed her.
Real name, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, she was raised by Italian parents in New York City.
They both played an active role in the Catholic Church and Gaga attended a faith school.
Lady Gaga commented: "I was so moved today", and quoted her priest: "The Eucharist is not a prize for the perfect but the food that God gives us."
It has been reported by The Washington Post that Lady Gaga then went for a private lunch with the priest.
Lady Gaga is one of many stars who have documented their religious influences in their lives; Justin Bieber, the Jonas Brothers and Katy Perry have all shared images of themselves with Christian leaders online.
