US Christian rapper Kanye West, who recently changed his legal name to 'Ye', has said he believes God will bring him and Kim Kardashian back together.
Speaking at a Los Angeles Mission Thanksgiving event, a Christian organisation that works to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, West admitted to having made mistakes in his marriage and wanted to publicly "change the narrative".
"The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships," West said.
"We've made mistakes. I've made mistakes. I've publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason - I didn't know I was going to be in front of this mic - but I'm here to change the narrative."
In February this year, media personality Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from the rapper after almost seven years of marriage. They have four children together.
West continued: "If the enemy can separate Kimye [combination of Kim and Kanye], there's going to be millions of families that feel like separation is OK.
"But when God brings Kimye together, there's gonna be millions of families that are going to be influenced and see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store, "he concluded.
West first described himself as a born-again Christian in 2019, the same year his ninth album entitled 'Jesus is King' was released.
