Panel interviews have begun for candidates wishing to become the new Bishop of Oxford.
According to This is Oxfordshire the interviews will be taking place today and tomorrow.
Candidates will be seen by a Crown Nominations Commission that includes the Archdeacon of Oxford Martin Gorick, the rector of Dorchester Sue Booys and Ian Blair, the Diocesan secretary.
It is hoped that an appointment will be made by the end of June.
The Bishop of Dorchester, Revd Colin Fletcher, has been the Acting Bishop of Oxford since Bishop John Pritchard retired from the post in October 2014.
