The Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, Dr Shuja Shafi; the Head of Al Khoei Foundation, Sayid Yousif Al Khoei; the Director of the London Muslim Centre, Dilowar Khan and the Director of the Centre for Theology and Community, Canon Dr Angus Ritchie were joined by the French Ambassador for a moment of silence this morning.
The meeting comes as police continue attempts to catch the men wanted over Wednesday's Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris.
It's understood the two brothers have taken a hostage and police have surrounded the building they're holed up in - a printworks near Charles de Gaulle airport.
Cherif and Said Kouachi have apparently told negotiators they're prepared to die.
Meanwhile Prince Harry's signed a book of condolence at the French Embassy in London this lunchtime for the victims of the shootings.
