A housekeeper has filed a lawsuit alleging religious discrimination while working at a property linked to Kylie Jenner.
Angelica Hernandez Vasquez claims she was harassed over her Catholic faith by colleagues, including being told that “Catholics are horrible people”. The case has been filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
The lawsuit alleges she was “belittled and humiliated” and that an employee threw a clothes hanger at her. It also claims she was given difficult tasks and subjected to “demeaning” treatment.
Kylie Jenner is named as a defendant but is not accused of direct misconduct. Two companies, Tri Star Services and Maison Family Services, are also named, and claims were responsible for a “toxic and abusive work environment” during her employment between September 2024 and August 2025.
She alleges that she was “publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin and religion” by a head housekeeper identified as Patsy and another employee identified as Elsi.
After raising concerns, Ms Vasquez says she faced false accusations and disciplinary warnings. When she complained again, she alleges that a supervisor threw clothes hangers at her feet.
Ms Vasquez resigned in August 2025 and says she is suffering distress.
The case includes claims of religious discrimination, retaliation and emotional harm.
