The aunt of Isaiah Aderiye has called for the public to pray for the safe return of her nephew who went missing in Lewisham last week.
The 16-year-old has been gone since Thursday 1st July and reported missing the following day.
Police in Lewisham said Isaiah Aderiye went missing from the New Cross area of south London.
He is 6ft tall and was last seen wearing black T-shirt and black tracksuit trousers. Anyone with any information is being urged to ring 101 and quote the reference 8680/01Jul.
His aunt Sarah Adebambo posted a video on social media, saying: "First and foremost, on behalf of my family, I want to say thank you so so much to absolutely everyone who has shared, posted, liked and done everything about the flyer regarding my nephew.
"We're grateful and I believe if we carry on with this momentum we're gonna find him really, really shortly.
"Please do keep an eye out and if you do see him call the police...but I trust God and I believe God and I have faith in God...and I know that God will bring my nephew back home safely to my sister and to all of us so, if you see this, say a prayer for us."
Sarah said she hoped to be able to bring good news, ending: "my faith in God, it cannot and it will not be moved".
