Fake priest arrested in alleged Pope ticket scam

Erwin Mena, 59, from Los Angeles faces approximately 30 different charges, according the The i newspaper.

According to his arrest warrant he faces charges including grand theft, perjury (for filing a marriage licence he signed) and practicing medicine without a licence.

The pontiff visited the United States in November 2015 and stopped off in Washington D.C., New York and Philadelphia during his five day visit.

Around a million people attended his Mass in Philadelphia during his trip.
