The gospel star famous for 'Over Me' won the category beating A Star, Noel Robinson, S.O and Seth Pinnock.
The evening aimed to recognise outstanding contributions to the gospel music scene, and was presented by Dr Who and Eastenders actor Jiovan Wade alongside pop artist Arrow Benjamin.
Lurine Cato won the Best Female beating Annastasia Baker, Isabella, Libby Redman and Monique Thomas.
There were eight awards categories in all up for grabs.

Faith Child told Premier: "We don't do it for awards, but who doesn't appreciate appreciation?
"It's great to be valued and loved, so I thank Premier so much for this - it means a lot to me - and this will definitely go high up on my shelf with all my other gongs as well.
"Thank you to my mother and my big sister for sacrificing a lot to get me to the stage I am today."
