Eight Christians jailed in Iran

It's emerged eight members of the Church of Iran have been sentenced to jail after being found guilty of action against national security. They were arrested during a prayer service in a house in Shiraz but were bailed after paying a substantial sum of money. Anti-persecution group Christian Solidarity Worldwide said it's disappointing the regime continues to target religious minorities and is calling for their release from prison. Dr Khataza Gondwe is CSW's Advocacy Officer for sub-Saharan Africa.
