The Council of Christians and Jews in Britain has voiced its concern over the "alarming escalation of violence" in Israel, directed both against Arab and Jewish
On Wednesday it was reported a group of Israelis set a mosque on fire in the West Bank.
Palestinian officials say it happened near the town of Ramallah overnight.
Earlier this week, an Israeli woman died in a knife attack in the occupied territory.
Hours earlier, a soldier was killed in a similar incident near a train station in Tel Aviv.
In a statement to Premier the CCJ said: "At a time when the voices of those who would wish to create division and fan the flames of violence are ever more vocal, CCJ supports those groups and individuals working tirelessly to seek peace and reconciliation between Arab and Jewish citizens of Israel and between Palestinians and Israelis".
