Christian charity supports families coming together to watch TV

A shift in our TV habits shows living room telly is making a comeback.

A study has found 91% per cent of us watch TV in their main room at least once a week, just families in the 1950s. 

The research, by media regulator Ofcom, also reveals more people are living in homes with just one television.

It also shows we're multi-tasking while we're watching, thanks to gadgets such as tablets and smart phones.

Emily Petty is from Christian charity Mothers' Union.
