The number of people donating organs after death has risen 50 percent since 2008.
More than 12 hundred people in the UK donated their organs in the last year - leading to over 3 thousand transplants.
The increase has been largely credited to the network of specialist nurses who approach and support bereaved relatives in hospitals.
But Jules Hollidge who's director for the Fleshandblood, the Christian based organ donation campaign has told the News Hour they've been doing a lot of work too:
