Church goers in Ireland's County Donegal have been warned against doing yoga.
Parish priest Fr Padraig O'Baoill called it "unsavoury" in a newsletter and warned Catholics not to "endanger" their souls by taking part.
It said: "As followers of Jesus Christ we should not partake in deeds that go against our religion.
"Accordingly, you should do not take part in yoga, thai chai or reiki.
"Do not put your soul in jeopardy for the sake of these contemptable things."
The priest is currently in Lourdes and told a reporter he would comment further when he returned.
It's reported church goers were left "baffled and bemused" by the comments.
Yoga was created using Indian holy texts which are also used in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism.
