A Catholic Bishop has spoken out about Joe Biden’s belief as a Catholic.

Bishop Michael Burbidge of Arlington, Virginia has said that the US President’s stance as a Catholic and supporting abortion rights is damaging.

In his recent podcast Walk Humbly, he said: “I find it very troubling that President Biden continues to contradict the most basic teachings of the faith he professes

Bishop Burbridge said he believes that the president causes “great scandal when he announces both his faith and his pro-abortion position publicly.

He went on to say: “I pray that he will change his position, repent of the scandal and the damage that is being caused.”

The significance of these comments is because his diocese covers Northern Virginia and borders Washington, D.C.

Adding to this was speaker Pelosi who was banned from receiving Holy Communion in her home diocese, after speaking out about Abortion rights.

Abortion is strictly forbidden in the Catholic church in America but some Democrats who claim to be Catholic, like Pelosi and President Joe Biden, have been advocates for abortion rights.
