Bones discovered near Norwich church

by Lydia Davies

Authorities have sealed off part of a city street in Norwich following the discovery of suspected human bones near St Andrew's Church, according to the BBC.

Workers digging up a section of pavement on Bridewell Alley, near the church grounds, uncovered the remains at approximately 21:00 GMT on Monday evening.

Norfolk Police swiftly established a cordon around the site, with crime scene investigators called in to examine the area.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the bones are believed to be human and will undergo forensic analysis to determine their age and origin.

The examination process is expected to take several weeks, and further updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
