The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team has deployed chaplains to Colorado as thousands of people have been displaced by wildfires.
The blaze known as Marshall burned around 6,000 acres as high winds spurred it on last week.
While evacuation orders are still in place for many, some have been given the green light to return to their destroyed homes.
The chaplains are offering emotional and spiritual support to those in need.
"The wildfires that are raging in Colorado have been so devastating and our hearts hurt for all of those who have lost their homes and suffered destruction to property," said Josh Holland, assistant director of the BG-RRT. "We are praying for them and have crisis-trained chaplains there to provide emotional and spiritual support for all of those who are hurting."
Heavy snowfall is now compounding the difficulty for those caught up in the fire.
US President Joe Biden has declared the scene a national disaster.
