The charges were brought against married mother-of-five Asia Bibi after an argument with Muslim colleagues. She is the first female in Pakistan to be sentenced to death.
Asia Bibi is currently appealing in Pakistan's Supreme Court, the highest legal body in the country, after a previous appeal to the High Court was denied last October.
A petition on the website change.org calling for her death sentence to be quashed and release from prison have now reached 572,239 signatures at the time of writing.
Emily Clarke, the student who started the petition, said: "People who stand up for Asia Bibi in Pakistan put their lives at risk.
"In 2011 two politicians were killed for speaking out against Pakistan's barbaric blasphemy laws.
"This makes it more important than ever that the international community stands together to show our support for Asia and for the people putting their lives at risk to save her."
Miss Clarke was referring to the late Salmaan Tasser, a former govenor of Punjab, and the late Shahbaz Bhatti, a former minister for Pakistan's minority groups. Both were shot dead for the support of Christians and opposition to Pakistan's blasphemy laws.
Neville Kyrke-Smith, National Director of Christian advocacy group Aid to the Church in Need UK, said: "It is important we do everything we can to get real justice for Asia Bibi and save her life.
"We need the UK government and international community to get behind her plight as well as continuing to encourage the Pakistani authorities for a fair review of the case."
