by Press Association

Sussex Police released a CCTV image of Jeremy Brabrooke at St Faith's Church in Havant, Hampshire, taken on the same day that he had left Ford Prison in West Sussex.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that Brabrooke was arrested on Monday.

She said: "Wanted man Jeremy Brabrooke has been arrested.

"The 56-year-old absconded from Ford Prison last Wednesday (November 14) and was arrested in Hampshire on Monday (November 19).

"Members of the public and media are thanked for their assistance."

Brabrooke was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1988 for murder in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
