Guy Bennett always denied the 24 charges of indecent assault against him. It had been claimed he touched eleven victims during Sunday school trips, church concerts and religious studies lessons.
It was claimed the alleged incidents occurred between 1975 and 1991, while the 84 year old from East Grinstead was Rector of St Mary's parish church in Oxted, Surrey.
But during an eleven-day trial at Guildford Crown Court, a jury took less than four hours to acquit him of all two dozen indecent assault counts, and one count of outraging public decency.
Mr Bennet, was also worked as a chaplain at the London Palladium between 1972 and 1998, said any touching was inadvertent and had no sexual intent.
In the dock, he showed no reaction as the verdicts were read out but he did embrace a relative with a hug following his release from the dock.
One of the most famous theatres in the capital, the London Palladium regularly held ITV's Live From the Palladium and the Royal Variety Performance.
