Vicar stops serving communion wine to support alcoholics

A priest's stopped serving wine during holy communion because of the growing number of alcoholics in his congregation.

The vicar at St Peter and St Paul Church in Kent introduced the policy because he didn't want the 'four or five' addicts who attend his church to feel isolated during services.

The Revd Paul Filmer tells Premier's Des Busteed the decision's been based on an act of solidarity:
