Tyson Fury quotes Bible verse to assert innocence as he's cleared to fight again

The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world tested positive for banned substance nandrolone in February 2015.

He denied taking the steroid insisting it came from eating wild boar.

UK Anti-Doping has served Fury with a two-year ban which is backdated to December 2015. It effectively means he is free to box again as long as he is given a licence by the British Boxing Board of Control.

When Fury became world champion, he hit the headline more for his comments on religion than his sporting prowess.

After claiming God wanted him to become a champion he was later criticised for appearing to compare homosexuality to paedophilia.

In a recent interview with Youtube channel IFLTV, Fury revealed how he turned back to faith after battling depression.

On Monday evening he appeared to assert his innocence by quoting Isaiah 54 on his Twitter page.
