The Traitors series two winner has shared insights into his Catholic faith as he prepares to feature in the upcoming BBC show Pilgrimage: The Road Through The Alps.

In this three-part series, Harry Clark will join other celebrities, including The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness, comedian Helen Lederer, and TV personality Jeff Brazier, as they embark on a spiritual journey through the Alps.

Harry, who grew up in Slough, told the Observer that he has always had faith and played the violin and served at his local Catholic church.

“I’ve questioned who God is my whole life, not in a bad way, but as in no one knows who God is.” he said.

“I’m so excited to go on this Pilgrimage, to meet the other pilgrims and find out about their religions, what they believe in and why, and if they don’t believe, why?"

In contrast, McGuiness, who was raised in an Irish Catholic family, now considers himself agnostic.

“...As time’s gone on, I think that the rule book that comes with being a Catholic is too judgmental for where I am," he said.

Other participants in the series include comedian Daliso Chaponda, exploring the Baha’i faith, and retired Paralympian Stefanie Reid, a practising Christian.

The show will also feature journalist Nelufar Hedayat, who is a Muslim.
