A former Southern California televangelism landmark has been demolished after sitting vacant for several years.

The Trinity Broadcasting Network headquarters in Costa Mesa, California, was torn down to make way for around 142 new homes, according to Religion Unplugged.

The 65,000-square-foot property featured golden staircases, marble surfaces and floor-to-ceiling murals depicting biblical characters.

"The TBN headquarters is almost gone," Paul Crouch Jr., the eldest son of late TBN founders Jan and Paul Crouch Sr., wrote on social media. "Many things are running through my head, and my heart hurts. From this location, millions were touched and ministered to via television. This is not what my parents envisioned, but the last chapter has not been written."

TBN purchased the six-acre property for $6 million in 1996 as the network expanded into what became the world’s largest Christian television broadcaster.

By the mid-1990s, the network had more than 700 broadcast, cable and satellite affiliates. In 2014, TBN said it had 8,000 cable and satellite affiliates and could reach around 80% of U.S. homes.

The headquarters, completed in 1998, was open to visitors seven days a week, offering studio tours, baptisms and live audience experiences.

TBN sold the property in 2017 for $18 million to developers planning to convert the site into an international English-language school. According to The Roys Report, funding for the project collapsed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, a real estate company bought the building for $22 million and renamed it The Palazzo by Khoshbin. The property was sold again in 2025 for $45.5 million, with new owners proposing a housing development.

TBN has since relocated to nearby Tustin, California.
