According to World Watch Monitor the country's Islamist government imprisoned the group of six, currently unidentified, over the weekend before releasing them on bail.
It's unclear whether the six will face further charges.
The arrests come amid continuing Christian persecution in Sudan where five churches were recently told their buildings would be demolished with the land "assigned for investment".
Several other churches have previously been demolished in Sudan (picture above).
Three of the churches are part of the Sudan Church of Christ, one belongs to the Presbyterian Church and the other belongs to the Episcopal Church in Sudan. All of them are based in the capital Khartoum.
Four Christians, Rev Hassan Taour, Rev Kuwa Shamal (the pastors pictured, below), Petr Jasek and Abdulmonem Abdumawla are due in court on October 17 charged with crimes against the state.
It's after the group were accused of highlighting the suffering of Christians among ethnic Nubans in the country.
If found guilty, the four could face the death penalty.
