Spring Harvest set to open bookings for 2021 event with Covid-19 guarantee

by Marcus Jones

Christian family conference Spring Harvest has annouced it will open bookings next month for next year's event, despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus.

The gathering, which takes place in April in three locations across England, moved online this year as the country went into lockdown.

Videos of the event received over a million views in the weeks after they were made available.

Organisers have confirmed they will proceed with an in person 2021 meeting, though will initially book for a reduced capacity.

Those unsure whether to book, because of coronavirus, have been given assurance that they will be able to claim a full refund from Butlins up to 72 hours before the event should any issue arise which prevents them from attending.

Reasons permitted for cancellation include:

- You are unable to travel due to sickness and/or isolation due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
- UK Government restrictions on travel due to the Coronavirus outbreak
- The resort you have booked is closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak

While no speakers have been announced, the theme of the event is 'Unrivaled'.

The cancelled 2020 event meant Essential Christian, the group behind Sprint Harvest, were facing a £1.5m financial deficit.

Speaking in the immediate aftermath, Gavin Calver from the Spring Harvest leadership team said: "We are in an unprecedented situation. Please do pray for us and please would you consider donating some of your refund to ensure that Spring Harvest's unique ministry continues? We would be so grateful for any help whatsoever."
