Faith-based dating website Christian Connection says January marks the "busiest time in the dating calendar" and its membership typically doubles at the beginning of the year.
Joff Williams from the firm said: "For many Christians seeking a partner, it can be really important to find someone who shares their faith.
"But people lead such busy lives and with church attendance dropping, it's hard to know where to start".
The campaign includes three poster designs which are appearing on the London Underground and Manchester Metrolink during January.
Referencing to Matthew 7:7, one says "See and ye shall find (if you're looking in the right place)", while another reads "In the beginning... (Adam and Eve didn't need a dating app)".
Joff Williams continued: "We see membership numbers almost double in January, so it's a great time to step out of your comfort zone and meet someone new.
"But whether you're a Christian or not, single or otherwise, we hope this campaign will put a smile on your face at a time when we all need a little bit of positivity in our lives."
