Research says religious people only favour those of same belief

We may be keen to help other Christians but a new study suggests we're not as charitable to members of other religions. Nottingham University Business School conducted a number of tests to look at people's attitudes to sharing money. It says religious people are less likely to practice generosity if the person receiving doesn't share their beliefs. David Gifford is the Chief Executive of the Council of Christians and Jews.

He told Premier's News Hour the fact many of us give to non-religious charities suggests this research is wrong.
