Prince Charles meets Iraqi and Syrian Christians

Princes Charles is meeting representatives from the Iraqi Chaldean Catholic Church and the Syriac Catholic Church. 

The delegates are representing Christians in the Middle East who are still suffering persecution at the hands of Islamic State.

The heir to the throne has been meeting believers fleeing the militant group in the region for several years now.

Aid to the Church in Need, a prominent anti-persecution charity, is attending the event alongside alongside advocacy groups Friends of the Holy Land and the Jesuit Refugee Service.

The event at Archbishop House will end with prayers for Christians who continue to be persecuted in the Middle East.
