Popular prayer app Pray.com has partnered with football legend Drew Brees to produce a devotional series connected to the start of the NFL season.

Pray.com and Drew Brees announced that they are working together to produce a new series titled "Faith and Football." The series will feature recordings of Brees leading various prayers and reading bedtime Bible stories to the viewer. Each devotional will be complemented by 32 prayers lead by pastor Jeff T. Osborne, one for each team.

"At Pray, we hope to connect our listeners to something greater through the power of prayer," said Steve Gatena, co-founder and CEO, in a press release. "We are thrilled to partner with Drew, who has shown he is an exceptional human being both on and off the field. At the start of this NFL season and beyond, we hope to be along for the ride for both players and fans."

"I make prayer a priority in my life, and Pray.com is my inspiration each and every morning as I start my day," stated Brees in a press release. "I am proud to partner with them."

Drew Brees has played for nearly 20 years in the NFL and 15 years with the New Orleans Saints. Brees made a name for himself in 2009 when he became the Super Bowl MVP-winning quarterback for the Saints. Brees retired in 2020 and now focuses on working as a sports analyst and running his philanthropy foundation, Brees Dream Foundation.

The series is now available on the Pray.com app.
