The Vatican has confirmed Pope Francis is to visit Columbia later this year.
He'll travel to the cities of Bogotá, Villavicencio, MedellÃn, and Cartagena in September.
It will be the first papal visit to the South American country in 31 years.
The trip comes after a 50 year long civil war, which saw 200,000 killed, came to an end.
The trip's motto is "Let's take the first step", which is a reference to peace in the region.
Speaking last year about the end to fighting, the pontiff reiterated his support for the goal of attaining the peace and reconciliation of the entire Colombian people: "in light of human rights and Christian values, which are at the heart of Latin American culture."
